MONTREAL -- The Montreal Impact has agreed to terms with Argentine attacking midfielder Ignacio Piatti to become a designated player. Rays Yonny Chirinos Jersey . Piatti, 29, is to join the team in August after playing for Argentine side San Lorenzo de Almagro in the Copa Libertadores. He will be Montreals second DP after striker Marco Di Vaio, who is expected to retire at the end of the season. He replaces midfielder Hernan Bernardello, a DP who left this week to join Cruz Azul in Mexico. "Were excited," said Impact sporting director Nick De Santis, who has been working on landing Piatti for more than a year. "When you go after a player in the prime of his career, who helped his team win a championship and lead them to the semifinals in the Copa Libertadores, for us it exciting." DeSantis said it was a long-term deal but declined to reveal Piattis salary or how many years the contract covers. "His strengths are his ability to score important goals, his hunger to score goals, his ability to put defences on their heels, his ability to strike the ball with the right foot or the left," said De Santis. "He gets in a good attacking positions inside the 18-yard box, and hes a two-way player." The five-foot-11 Paitti scored 30 goals in more than 160 Argentine first division matches. He has played for five clubs in Argentina as well as with St-Etienne in France in 2006 and Lecce in Italy from 2010 to 2012. Rays Jose De Leon Jersey . -- Rodney Stuckey scored 15 of his 21 points in the second half, and the Detroit Pistons beat the New York Knicks for the first time in eight meetings, 92-86 on Tuesday night. Rays Chaz Roe Jersey . -- Oakland Athletics starting pitchers Jarrod Parker and A. http://www.cheapraysjerseysauthentic.com...cre-jersey .ca NHL Power Rankings, finally overtaking the St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks, who rank second and third this week.A day after blowing a three-goal lead in a disappointing 6-5 shootout loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins, Toronto Maple Leafs coach Randy Carlyle was blunt about the stress that comes from a game like the one played Wednesday night. "I dont sleep well - I get stress headaches," he told reporters. "I get a lot of things that you guys probably never experienced. "Theres an adrenaline that comes with (coaching), but also pretty big lows & things like last night bring you to earth in a hurry." Of the problems coming out of Wednesday nights loss was the Leafs inability to generate offence in the third period, as Toronto didnt register a single shot in the third period and in overtime. Needless to say, 25 minutes of shot-less hockey didnt sit well with Carlyle. Asked if he ever had a shot-less period as a player or a coach, Carlyle was again a matter-of-fact about it. "Probably," he said. "Forgot about it in a hurry, though." Carlyle looked to the ";snowball effect with the penalties," that the Leafs took in a game that saw them outchance the Penguins 11-9 after two periods before their offensive collapse in the final frame. Rays Vidal Nuno Jersey. Three of the Penguins five goals in regulation were scored on the power play, meaning a defensive effort was also wanting for the second game in a row. The Leafs took a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of the Columbus Blue Jackets at the Air Canada Centre on Monday night. "Obviously, weve given up 11 goals in two games and thats not going to cut it," said Carlyle. "Thats not going to work in the NHL." Still, Carlyle is convinced that his team can be better and knows that its his job as coach to ensure that it will. "Were salesmen, simple as that - coaches - and were selling a program that we believe in," he explained. "We can play to a higher level." The Leafs will next have the opportunity to find that level on Friday night when they visit the Buffalo Sabres. MINNEAPOLIS -- Headed for a fifth straight losing season, the New York Mets have the kind of rotation in place with the potential to soon end that skid. Stitched Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jerseys . Matt Harvey is the leader of the group, but dont forget Dillon Gee. And Travis dArnaud is up to guide these guys from behind the plate. Gee pitched into the eighth inning for the Mets in a 6-1 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Monday afternoon in a makeup game from April 14, and dArnaud learned afterward hes here for good. Gee (9-8) turned in yet another quality start, and the offence for the Mets was about as balanced as could be with RBI singles by Eric Young, Daniel Murphy, Andrew Brown, Wilmer Flores and Omar Quintanilla. All five of them had two hits, as did Marlon Byrd, who hit his 20th home run. Juan Lagares made several standout catches in centre field, including a sprint into the wall to track down Josh Willinghams drive in the first. "It helps to have the help that Ive had. Ive had great catchers calling great games, and Juan tracks down everything there in centre field," Gee said, adding: "It gives you confidence to keep attacking." With veteran catcher John Buck due back on Tuesday from paternity leave, the Mets sent catcher Anthony Recker to Triple-A Las Vegas after the game. That meant dArnaud, the prized prospect acquired from Toronto in the off-season trade of Cy Young Award winner R.A. Dickey, was staying despite being hitless in his first seven at-bats. "What an amazing feeling, getting to stay with the club. This group of guys is just a great group of guys that truly love baseball," dArnaud said. Hes not going to be biding his time on the bench, either. "The only way this guy is going to improve is to be here," manager Terry Collins said. Rookie Kyle Gibson (2-4) struggled again for the Twins, failing to finish the fourth. He recorded 11 outs and allowed 10 hits and was sent to Triple-A Rochester after the game with a 6.53 ERA. Only once since his debut on June 29 has the right-hander gone six innings and given up three runs or fewer. "He just wasnt very consistent today. I know hes frustrated," catcher Joe Mauer said. The Mets won the first two games of the series here by a total score of 20-7, but the finale at Target Field was postponed due to cold and rain. Despite the four-plus months that elapsed, this was just as lopsided as before, thanks to Gee. The 27-year-old right-hander was scheduled to start this game originally, that wintry afternoon. The heat and humidity have proven to be better working conditions. Since May 30, Gee has a 2.27 ERA, the third-best in the league behind Jose Fernandez and Clayton Kershaw. All nine of Gees victories have come since April 20, and no other Mets pitcher including the All-Star Harvey has more than five in that stretch. The Mets are 13-12 in Harveys starts. Theyre 14-11 with Gee on the mound. This was a feel-good way to wrap up an 11-game road trip for the Mets, who finished 5-6 but lost three of those on the last at-bat. Gee walked just one and struck out nine, matching the second-highest total of his career. Left-hander Scott Rice relieved him with two outs in the eighth inning to retire Justin Morneau with Mauer, who had two of the six hits against Gee, on second. The only run Gee allowed was unearned when Murphy let a ground ball hit by Clete Thomas slide underneath his glove at second base in the seventh for an error. Gee has given up one or fewer runs in 12 of his starts. Hes completed six innings or more in each of his past 10 turns. Collins and dArnaud raved about the way Gee mixed all four pitches. "This is what weve known him to be in the past. I wouldnt be at all surprised if you look up in the next six weeks, and hes going to have 14 or 15 wins," Collins said. NOTES: Collins said reliever Carlos Torres will start on Friday, giving Harvey an extra day of rest. Jenrry Mejias elbow injury opened a spot. ... The Mets host Atlanta on Tuesday, with RHP Zack Wheeler (5-2, 3.43 ERA) set to take the mound after a career-high 12 strikeouts at San Diego last Thursday. RHP Brandon Beachy (2-0, 4.50 ERA) will start for the Braves. ... The Twins start a three-game series at division-leading Detroit on Tuesday. Theyll start RHP Mike Pelfrey (4-10, 5.26 ERA) opposite RHP Rick Porcello (9-6, 4.33 ERA) of the Tigers. DeVante Harris Jersey . Not only that, when Julian de Guzman first stepped on the pitch for Deportivo de la Coruna he became the very first Canadian to play in Spains top tier. Jacquizz Rodgers Jersey .The third-seeded Murray, who won here in 2009, will face seventh-seeded Kevin Anderson of South Africa next on the indoor hard court. http://www.cheapbuccaneersjerseyssale.co...ersey-sale . According to a report from ESPN, the Green Bay Packers have re-signed the cornerback to a four-year, $39 million deal with a $12. MINNEAPOLIS -- Matt Cassel was crisp from the start, giving Teddy Bridgewater a model touchdown drive to watch. Bridgewater showed his age, aside from a few flashes of brilliance, and thats the early snapshot of the starting quarterback competition. Cassel went 5 for 6 for 62 yards, and the Vikings broke in their temporary new home stadium for the next two years by beating the Oakland Raiders 10-6 in the exhibition opener on Friday night. "Any time you can come down and score on your first drive, thats what youre trying to accomplish," Cassel said. Bridgewater relieved Cassel at quarterback after one series, and the rookies first name was rhythmically chanted during his first two snaps by a crowd eager to see the first-round draft pick in action. Playing into the third quarter, Bridgewaters debut was mixed at best: 6 for 13 for 49 yards, two sacks and one fumble the Vikings recovered. He said he didnt notice the fuss from the fans. "I felt pretty good. There were some missed opportunities, but Ill be able to come back next week and play more aggressive," Bridgewater said. Coach Mike Zimmer agreed. "There were a couple times in the game where he just didnt act like a veteran," Zimmer said. "Things happened that he hadnt seen before. So those are all great experiences for him. But he made some great throws." Matt Schaubs first time in silver and black wasnt exactly smooth, either. The latest attempt by the Raiders to stop the quarterback carousel from spinning, Schaub finished 3 for 7 for 21 yards. Schaub played three series, all three-and-outs. "We were pretty sloppy," Schaub said. Derek Carr, the second-round draft pick from Fresno State, took over in the second quarter and was only slightly more productive with and against the backups. Carr went 10 for 16 for 74 yards, but his high throw on the run to Jamize Olawale slipped through the fullbacks hands and was intercepted by Kurt Coleman. "Hes a young QB, and hell learn to keep the ball low because if he drops it, it goes to the ground," Coleman said. Third-string quarterback Matt McGloin had a late 10-yard touchdown scramble. Darren McFadden had a 23-yard run, the only real highlight by a Raiders starter, leavinng coach Dennis Allen disappointed. Shaun Wilson Jersey. "I thought wed come out sharper than that," Allen said. The acquisition of Schaub from Houston was just one of many moves during a busy off-season for the Raiders, and hes coming off a rough year. With three seasons of at least 4,000 passing yards for the Texans, though, Schaub has the potential to stabilize this long-unsettled position. Since Rich Gannon won the NFL MVP award and guided the Raiders to the Super Bowl after that career year in 2002, the Raiders have had 17 different quarterbacks start at least one regular season game. Schaub will be the 18th in September, barring injury for the 33-year-old. Both teams escaped without significant injuries, which is always the primary goal of these preseason contests. Raiders backup defensive tackle Justin Ellis walked slowly off the field with a head injury. The Vikings also announced backup safety Mistral Raymond was being evaluated for a head injury. Not only was this game in purple for Zimmer, but it marked the start of a two-year stay at TCF Bank Stadium at the University of Minnesota for the Vikings while their new fixed-roof facility is being built to replace the Metrodome downtown. The Vikings played here once before, on Dec. 20, 2010, eight days after the Metrodomes roof was ripped open and toppled by a snowstorm. That game against Chicago was moved into the winter weather. The cold could wait for another day, though, on this picturesque summer night with a kickoff temperature of 81 degrees and a hazy sunset distracting from the penalties, punts and dropped passes once the second and third stringers took over for good. The Raiders were penalized 13 times for 94 yards. With Adrian Peterson resting, Matt Asiata capped the opening drive with a 1-yard touchdown run. Bridgewater took the Vikings another 10 plays on his first turn, setting up a 30-yard field goal by Blair Walsh. The Vikings were concerned enough about the safety spot next to Harrison Smith that they signed veteran Chris Crocker this week. With Jamarca Sanford, Robert Blanton and Andrew Sendejo all sitting out with injuries, Coleman got a chance for extended action at that position, another entry in that crowded field. PARIS - Eugenie Bouchard raced into the French Open quarterfinals by beating eighth-seeded Angelique Kerber of Germany 6-1, 6-2 in 52 minutes on Sunday. Linval Joseph Jersey . The 18th-seeded Canadian wasted no time, opening up a 5-0 lead in just 16 minutes. The Montreal native, who reached the Australian Open semifinals this year, next plays either No. 14-seeded Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain or the unseeded Ajla Tomljanovic. They were playing later Sunday. "I just felt good out there, I executed my game plan really well, so Im happy with that," said Bouchard. "There are always things to improve, and Im just going to focus on that tomorrow and try to do even better my next match." Kerber, a quarter-finalist at Roland Garros two years ago, made a string of unforced errors and Bouchard broke for a 2-1 lead in the second set when Kerber returned long from the back of the court. Trailing 5-2, Kerber played with the strings of her racket as she hunched forward on her chair, her head bowed. Bouchard, by contrast, sat upright, taking a few deep breaths to compose herself before serving out the match. She clinched victory on her first match point when Kerber — a two-time Grand Slam semifinalist — made another unforced error, this time as her wild forehand sailed out. "Im confident and I really believe in my skills. I believe I can play with the best girls out there," Bouchard said. "Shes top 10, so I respect her. She can play some really good tennis. I was really mentally prepared for anything, for a battle." With the top three womens seeded players out, Maria Sharapova remains the favourite to win the tournament for the second time. The seventh-seeded Russian later played Samantha Stosur. Bouchard`s dominant victory over Kerber stretched her winning streak to nine straight matches — the longest of her career. And it lifted her career record against top 10 opponents to 5-10. Her victims this season have also included No.10 Sara Errani at Indian Wells in March and No.8 Jelen Jankovic last April in Charleston. Mens eighth seed Milos Raonic of Thornhill, Ont., was attempting to join Bouchard in the last eight as he faced Spains Marcel Granollers. Raonic is the first Canadian man to play in the fourth round at Roland Garros. In mens fourth-round action later Sunday, second-seeded Novak Djokovic was playing No. 13-seeded Jo-Wilfried Tsonga; fourth-seeded Roger Federer took on Ernests Gulbis; and sixth-seeded Tomas Berdych faced No. 10-seeded John Isner. There were two third-round matches remaining, with seventh-seeded Andy Murray and No. 28 Philipp Kohlschreiber deep into a fifth set, and No. 12-seeded Richard Gasquet up against Fernando Verdasco. --- With files from The Canadian Press Sheldon Richardson Jersey . The NFL announced Friday that the Texans sixth-year veteran offensive lineman will replace Philadelphia Eagles tackle Jason Peters in the Jan. Brandon Zylstra Jersey . The punch happened in the fourth quarter of Milwaukees 116-102 loss to the Kings on Wednesday when the two players became entangled while battling for rebounding position. http://www.cheapvikingsjerseyssale.com/?...ersey-sale . For the Bombers it has been a combination of things coming together at the most inappropriate moments in time. Quarterback, injuries, Canadian talent or depth and leadership are all issues. Trust me when I say being a Bomber is no fun right now in a city that embraces football the way Winnipeg does. While Buck Pierce will be getting another shot, I think Max Hall does deserve another opportunity.ATLANTA - The Braves found a temporary fix for their overstuffed rotation on Friday by moving Alex Wood to the bullpen for a week. Wood had been scheduled to start Sunday against the Chicago Cubs but instead will become Atlantas second left-handed reliever in addition to Luis Avilan. Aaron Harang will make Sundays start. Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said Wood will be back in the rotation on May 17 against St. Louis. Gonzalez said hell take another look at his rotation in a week. "This buys us eight days," he said. "Putting Wood in there kind of gives us a little breather and kind of gives him a little breather." The 23-year-old is 2-5 with a 3.00 ERA in seven starts — including back-to-back 1-0 losses. He was on pace for about 220 innings, which would surpass his total of 139 2-3 innings last year. "Thats a pretty big gap," Wood said. "Thats part of it. Right now we need help in the bullpen, too. It works best for everybody." Atlanta could make a similar move with Wood after his start against the Cardinals by giving him another short stretch in the bullpen. The plan would keep Wood stretched out for occasional startts until he makes a full-time return to the rotation. Kyle Rudolph Jersey. "They made it clear they see me in the rotation for the future," Wood said. He was 3-3 with a 3.13 ERA last year in 11 starts and 20 relief appearances. He had a 2.08 ERA out of the bullpen. "Its nice to go to the bullpen and have some experience throwing out of it, thats for sure," Wood said. "I know what to expect and I know what to do to stay ready and stay prepared. ... Its a compliment, going to the pen and pitching in tight situations where they need me." Wood said it wasnt easy to pitch in relief for two months in 2013 and then move to the rotation. He spent 10 days in the minor leagues, making one start, before returning to Atlanta to join the rotation. "Its definitely difficult going that long without starting in terms of getting back in the swing of things," he said. Mike Minor and Gavin Floyd have returned from the disabled list to assume starting spots. That left the Braves with a surplus of starters, even after rookie David Hale was sent to the bullpen. The rotation also includes Julio Teheran, Ervin Santana and Harang. FLORHAM PARK, N. Manti Teo Jersey .J. - Sheldon Richardson felt helpless as he watched the scenes near his hometown unfold on TV and social media. The New York Jets defensive tackle was born and raised in St. Louis, just a few minutes away from the suburb of Ferguson, Missouri, where police officer Darren Wilson was not indicted by a grand jury last week in the shooting death of Michael Brown on Aug. 9.Protests, looting and burning buildings followed, and Richardson couldnt do a thing about it.Destroying Ferguson was not what I wanted to come from the verdict of the grand jury, Richardson said Thursday. I actually wanted my whole city to stay intact and I dont think well bounce back from that. Well, the area of Ferguson, anyway. Thats just how I feel about it. I just want my hometown to stay as peaceful as possible, but I dont blame them.I know where theyre coming from and I understand, he added, but thats not the solution.Richardson found out about the ruling after the Jets lost 38-3 to the Buffalo Bills in Detroit on Nov. 24. He wrote that night on Twitter that he wasnt a happy camper because of the game, and because they let this pig get off.Last seasons AP Defensive Rookie of the Year reiterated his frustrations — along with his pig comment — in an interview with the New York Daily News published Wednesday night. He stood by them again in the Jets locker room after practice Thursday.Dont get the word pig wrong, said Richardson, wearing a navy St. Louis Cardinals sweatshirt. I mean, I meant that, but dont take away from my message. And, that message is?A guy got murdered and a guy got off for it, Richardson said. Its just that simple. It just happened out here in New York, too, so its not just in St. Louis. Its pretty bad everywhere now. So much for the justice system.Richardson also clarified that his derogatory comment regarding police officers was not a blanket statement, but rather just aimed at Wilson.Hey, man, Ive got friends who are cops, Richardson said. They laughed about it and said, I cant believe you actually said it, though. I was just referring to one guy. If you want to take it personal (or) make it personal, you know where I work at.Since his arrival last season as a first-round pick from the University of Missouri, Richardson has never been afraid to speak his mind. Why would I be? Its just words, you know? he said. The actions are being done by the police officers, who I feel are doing wrong. Youre supposed to protect and serve, but youre out killing people. And, Im not even talking about Darren Wilson. That was with the cop in New York.Richardson was surprised to hear Wednesday that a grand jury cleared police officer Daniel Pantaleo in the chokehold death of Eric Garner in Staten Island. That decision also sparked demonstrations around the city and the rest of the country.Thats pretty much, as they say, a closed-and-shut case, isnt it? Richardson said. A guys telling you he cant breathe and he wasnt doing anything. I saw the video and its pretty bad. Its just the way it is, man.Richardson and some of his teammates have discussed the cases, and he said he respects both sides of the debate. He also supported the five St. Louis Rams players who made the Hands up. Dont Shoot! gesture before a game last Sunday that protesters in Ferguson have been using. Some witnesses said Brown, who is black, had his hands up before being shot by Wilson, who is white and told the grand jury that he shot Brown in self-defence.It just speaks volumes that somebody else was willing to do something, a peaceful protest, didnt have to say anything. They just went out there and did it, he said. Everybody has their right to an opinion, and its my opinion. Its up to you if you respect it or not, but just dont disrespect me.Richardson was also adamant that his opinion of the Ferguson incident is not a racial issue.Im not trying to make this a white or black thing, he said. Someone got murdered. Its just that simple. Cold blood. Theres been a lot of victims or people who committed crimes that have been apprehended with guns in their hands. After the season, Richardson plans to help the people of his hometown rebound from the unrest while checking on his family regularly.I dont know exactly what I need to do right now, Richardson said, but I need to do something when I get back home — positive.___AP NFL websites: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFL Sam Mills Jersey . Neither made it that far in 2013. Not even close. Federer lost his second match at the All England Club. Nadal exited in the first round, a year after bowing out in the second. Willie Roaf Jersey .com) - Nino Williams posted 18 points and seven rebounds, as Kansas State edged No. http://www.cheapsaintsjerseyssale.com/ . Torres scored the first goal by an English team in the knockout phase of the Champions League this season when he met Cezar Azpilicuetas cutback in the ninth minute of their first leg match in the last 16. But Chelsea failed to make the most of its counterattacks and the Turkish champions equalized in the second half after gaining in confidence and cutting out their defensive mistakes.SAN FRANCISCO -- New York Mets prized pitching prospect Noah Syndergaard will need to rest for up to a week after hurting his non-throwing shoulder in a tag play at the plate in a minor league game. The Mets say Syndergaard sprained the AC joint in his left shoulder during the play Thursday night for Triiple-A Las Vegas. Dan Arnold Jersey. 7) How frustrating is it to be a Buffalo Bills fan? Well, consider that the Bills went to Denver and Kyle Orton passed for 355 yards, the Buffalo defence held Peyton Manning without a touchdown pass for the first time in 52 games, and the Bills lost 24-17 to see their playoff hopes dwindle further. Josh Hill Jersey .8) Some of these questions are easier to answer than others. Heres the toughest - why are NHL players getting mumps? (Obviously, its a troubling matter, for which there has been no answer, that I know of, but consider this: the Anaheim Ducks are one of the teams hardest hit by the disease, and theyre in first place. Thus, we have a new example of "overcoming adversity". Mumps.)9) Who should win the Lou Marsh Trophy as Canadas top athlete of 2014? I believe Im running into the wind on this one, for her year did not end well, but my vote will go to Genie Bouchard. The year is best remembered for her ascent to the Wimbledon final. I find it difficult to select any of the other worthy candidates when none of them made or deserved bigger headlines than Bouchard.10) How do you feel about Madison Bumgarner as Sports Illustrateds Sportsman of the Year? Again, I want the winner to be the most memorable contributor to the 2014 sports scene, and if Bumgarners post-season performance in leading the San Francisco Giants to their third World Series win in five years was the best in baseball history, I cant think of anything that stood out more in the past 12 months.11) I find myself asking this question: "Is it okay for an athlete to be an idol"? I ask so I can answer: "Yes, if the athlete can be like Jean Beliveau".12) You can find hockey experts who profess to like Jack Eichel as much as Connor McDavid, but have you heard anyone recommend neither of them as 2015s number-one NHL draft pick? (No.)13) Will you be more interested than usual in the World Junior Hockey Championship because of McDavid and Eichel? They were there last year, but the logical answer is "yes", because its their draft year and because they should be much more prominent this time.14) If ever there was a headline that could go on a timer and be repeated regularly, with details to follow, wouldnt it be "Coyotes ownership in trouble"?15) When the Raptors play against Cleveland and you try to imagine any other team or teams being in the NBA Eastern Conference final, do you come up empty? I guess you should consider Atlanta, Washington and Chicago, but I believe Im empty.16) Suggested by Mondays first day of ticket sales for the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto: who won the gold medal in baseball at the 2011 Pan Am Games in Guadalajara, Mexico? Perhaps youll be reminded if I tell you that USA won silver and Cuba won bronze. Who else for gold but Canada, right? Yup, score was 2-1 and Jimmy Van Ostrand drove in both runs for Canada with a two-run double in the sixth inning. Last word on Jimmy Van Ostrand? His name appears as a volunteer coach at Boston College.17) Is it really Billy Beane making the baseball moves in Oakland, or Brad Pitt, maybe? After dealing Yoenis Cespedes for Jon Lester in a futile attempt at success in last seasons American League playoffs, Beane has now traded the other two Oakland sluggers, Josh Donaldson and Brandon Moss; Lester and Jason Hammel have left the pitching staff as free agents and Beane has dealt Jeff Samardzija. Funnyball, not Moneyball.18) Jaromir Jagr is the 15th player in NHL history, and the only active player, who has appeared in 1,500 games. See him while you can. Is there any other reason to watch the New Jersey Devils? Perhaps not.19) So you think you know goalies? Last seasons top two vote-getters for the Vezina Trophy were Tuukka Rask and Semyon Varlamov. Make a list of the top goaltending performers so far this season and youll be a long time getting to either Rask or Varlamov. The number-one spot almost certainly goes to Nashvilles Pekka Rinne, who, in part because of injuries, wasnt even close to the Vezina radar last season.20) Shall we close with music? To herald the release of my annual "best of" music list at years end, coming soon via Twitter @TSNDaveHodge, heres the number-one song from 2014s number-one record. Will Clapp Jersey . -- Cam Newton pranced into the end zone, placed his hands over his chest and did his familiar Superman pose. Dan Arnold Jersey . The team announced the moves before Sundays game against Houston. Shaw was 1-4 with a 4.26 ERA in 43 games for the Diamondbacks. Bergesen was claimed off waivers from Baltimore on Friday. http://www.cheapsaintsjerseyssale.com/?t...ersey-sale . Johnson shared an update after his surgery Tuesday on Twitter. He also wrote, "now lets get on the grind." The running back told The Tennessean he was having surgery in Pensacola, Fla.Each week, TSN.ca Fantasy Editor Scott Cullen and NFL Editors Ben Fisher and Mitch Ward discuss three hot fantasy football topics. 1) Considering their surprising starts, who do you think will be more productive the rest of the way, Alex Smith or Colin Kaepernick? Cullen: I like Smiths increasing fantasy value -- seven touchdown passes in four games will do that -- but I couldnt choose him over Kaepernick because the ceiling with Kaepernick is so much higher. Smith is the safer play and the Chiefs are asking him (or allowing him) to do more than he did in San Francisco, but Smith has thrown for 300 yards in a game three times in 79 career starts. Kaepernick has only done it once (Week One this season), but has started only 11 games. I guess Im still on the side of potential. Fisher: Im sticking with Kaepernick. Through the first quarter of the season Smith has far outplayed his 49ers replacement in leading the Chiefs to a 4-0 record. But Kansas City wont stay perfect all season and as the team regresses back to the pack so should Smiths production. Conversely, the 49ers are better than a .500 team so as they climb the standings Kaepernick should likewise climb the fantasy rankings. That said, I could see both finishing the year as borderline QB1s. Ward: Im going to give the edge to Kaepernick, but its close. Smith has been consistently efficient through four weeks with seven touchdown passes against two interceptions. He should easily shatter his previous high of 17 touchdown passes in a season set in 2009. That being said, Smith is limited by his lack of arm strength and the absence of a vertical passing game in Kansas City. Kaepernick meanwhile is just a more dynamic player with the capability of putting up the real big games, Remember what he did to Green Bay in last years playoffs? Smith isnt capable of that kind of game. Smith will likely be more consistently solid, but the chance to go off on and given Sunday makes Kaepernick more desirable in my eyes. 2) Which running backs involved in a time share are worth starting week to week? Cullen: Particularly now that weve hit the point in the season in which bye weeks come into play, a lot of running backs that share time have to be considered. With C.J. Spiller struggling, Fred Jackson has to be considered. Knowshon Moreno, Giovani Bernard, Danny Woodhead and Darren Sproles would be others that I would go with each week. Id be okay with Ryan Mathews and Pierre Thomas (Woodhead and Sproles backfield mates) too, because they get more touches, but their production hasnt been great so far this season. Fisher: There are a couple teams around the league that have two running backs worth consideration for a starting spot. Fred Jackson has been a near Top 10 back through the first quarter of the season and is worth a starting even when C. Benjamin Watson Jersey. . Spiller is fully healthy. Sticking in the AFC East, Stevan Ridley and LeGarrette Blount in New England could both find themselves in starting lineups if teams get desperate. And with the Broncos high-powered offence, any of Denvers three RBs could be worth a start. And while its not exactly a true time share in Detroit, the Lions have two Top 10 backs through four games in Reggie Bush and Joique Bell. Ward: Giovani Bernard in Cincinnati. Hes currently in a timeshare with BenJarvus Green-Ellis but is slowly but surely demanding a bigger and bigger share of the touches. He is simply a better back in pretty much every facet of the game and does more with his opportunities. Green-Ellis currently has 54 touches on the year to Bernards 44, but its Bernard who has picked up 118 more yards. By the end of the season this wont be a timeshare anymore, it will be Bernards backfield and Green-Ellis will only be used for spot duty. Lamar Miller, who shares the Dolphins backfield with Daniel Thomas is another weekly start at this point. He is starting to distance himself from Thomas and should get more and more of the touches as the season goes on. I also really like Darren Sproles in New Orleans, especially in PPR leagues. 3) Has Bilal Powell proven himself to be a solid bet as an RB2 moving forward? Cullen: I say yes. His 400 yards from scrimmage ranks seventh among running backs right now -- ahead of Marshawn Lynch, Arian Foster and Doug Martin -- and while hes not likely to continue ahead of those guys and he only has one touchdown, Powell has to be considered a candidate for an RB2 spot, particularly through the bye weeks that have more than a couple teams off. As long as he remains productive, hes also doing enough to hold off any potential challenges for playing time from Chris Ivory (now hurt) and Mike Goodson. Fisher: Powell spent an inordinate amount of time on the waiver wire for a back ranking in the top 15 of his position in most formats. I dont expect Powell to finish the season that high in the rankings – there is too much inconsistency on the Jets offence and too many better backs behind Powell in the rankings that should eventually find their game and surpass him – but with no real competition in the Jets backfield, it wouldnt be surprising to see the 24-year-old stick as an RB2 all season long. Ward: I had my doubts about his abilities coming into the season, but hes made me a believer. Through four weeks he is averaging a solid 4.4 yards per carry and getting nearly 20 touches per game. While I dont have him on any teams this year, Id be comfortable rolling him out there every week as an RB2. SAN FRANCISCO -- Tim Lincecum struck out 11 in his best start of the year, Tyler Colvin backed him with a home run and go-ahead, two-run triple in the seventh inning and the San Francisco Giants beat the Atlanta Braves 4-2 on Monday night. Yankees Johnny Damon Jersey . Lincecum (3-2) left to a roaring standing ovation after pitching a season-high 7 2-3 innings in his first start of eight getting past the sixth. B.J. Upton hit a tying solo homer in the fifth, then was caught stealing on replay review as the potential go-ahead run in the top of the seventh. Upton hit a one-out double and was ruled to have stolen third on a slide below a reaching Pablo Sandoval. Giants manager Bruce Bochy challenged the call by third base umpire Dana DeMuth, and it was overturned in 2 minutes, 7 seconds. San Francisco, coming off a 7-3 road trip to Atlanta, Pittsburgh and Los Angeles, won for the sixth time in seven home games. Atlanta had won three in a row. Lincecum struck out 10 or more for the 36th time in his career and first since last July 28 against the Cubs. He retired Chris Johnson on a swinging strikeout to end the sixth with runners on first and second. Promoted from Triple-A on Saturday, Colvin splashed a solo homer into McCovey Cove beyond the right-field arcade in the second -- the 65th Giants homer to reach the water. Brandon Crawford had the other this season, on April 13 against Colorado. Giants leadoff man Angel Pagan produced his fourth three-hit game of the season. Javier Lopez surrendered Freddie Freemans ninth-inning splash homer, then Sergio Romo finished for his 13th save. It marked the first game with two splash homers since Barry Bonds did it by himself on May 18, 2002. Gavin Floyd (0-1) remained winless after his second start of 2014. Floyd struck out eight over 6 1-3 innings in his first outing against the Giants since 2008. The right-hander was 2-0 against the Giants and won in his only previous appearance at AT&T Park while with the White Sox. Braves left fielder Justin Upton returned after being held out Sunday. He bruised his lower back Saturday when hit by a pitch from Chicagos Jeff Samardzija. NOTES: The Braves dont have to face former Atlanta pitcher Tim Hudson this series, and thats fine with manager Fredi Gonzalez. "Its not all bad. Id like to say hi to him and hug him," Gonzalez said. ... Giants 1B Brandon Belt has opted to undergo surgery on his broken left thumb to have two pins inserted. The procedure will be performed by Dr. Tim McAdams on Tuesday at Stanford. Michael Morse made his first start at 1B since last July 31 at Boston while with Seattle. He made a fielding error in the sixth. ... San Francisco reinstated LHP David Huff from the 15-day disabled list and optioned OF Juan Perez to Triple-A Fresno. ... The Giants are in the middle of a 17-day stretch without a day off. Yankees Joe DiMaggio Jersey . - A week after a late-game debacle on defence, the Pittsburgh Steelers showed they can finish. Yankees Aroldis Chapman Jersey . "First, I would like to offer my deepest and sincerest apologies for any harm I have inflicted on University of Missouri defensive lineman, Michael Sam," the statement read. http://www.cheapyankeesauthenticjerseys....een-jersey . It took five games, but the Celtics finally helped Stevens earn his first NBA victory. "Im going to celebrate for a whole 12 minutes, and then Im going to start watching Orlando and trying to figure them out," the first-year Celtics coach said after Boston beat the Utah Jazz, one of the leagues other winless teams, 97-87 on Wednesday night. ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Minnesota Wild put a lot of work into summer projects the past two years. This time, theyre on track for a little less activity. Some key restricted free agents need new contracts to be retained. Another scorer would be a big help for the forward lines. The goalie situation, of course, remains in flux. Following the franchises deepest advancement in the playoffs in more than a decade, though, there are fewer holes. In 2012, the Wild were the stars of the NHL off-season by signing Zach Parise and Ryan Suter. In 2013, they had to shed several high-salaried veterans to create more space under the cap and on the roster for ready-to-contribute prospects. This time? "I just feel that this year theres not the sense of urgency that we have had in past seasons, that we have to add certain pieces in order to be more competitive," general manager Chuck Fletcher said Monday. He added: "This year I think we can be a little bit more patient." With the draft set for Friday and Saturday in Philadelphia and unrestricted free agency starting three days later, the NHL marketplace is set up for the flurry. "I think youll see a lot of movement this year. Its not a particularly strong free-agent class. I think teams will look to potentially fill their needs via the trade route," Fletcher said. Whether that includes the Wild, well, thats difficult to predict at this point. Fletcher said hes been fielding more calls than hes been making. "We either have players right in their prime that are key contributors on our team, or young players that are just starting their career that were really not that excited about moving. We dont have a lot of players in that 25 to 29-year-old age class that seem to be the prime trade candidates in a lot of cases," Fletcher said. That doesnt mean goalie Niklas Backstrom or centre Kyle Brodziak, for example, wouldnt be dealt if the Wild were to find a partner. Yankees Paul O’Neill Jersey. Backstrom is on track to be ready for training camp Sept. 18 after his latest midsection surgery. He has two more years left on his contract, and Brodziak has one. Dumping some salary would give the Wild more flexibility to pursue a high-priced unrestricted free agent, with Thomas Vanek the primary focus of outside speculation. The former University of Minnesota standout played for three teams in 2013-14, lastly with Montreal. Darcy Kuemper played his way into the starting goalie spot and is one of four restricted free agents the Wild will probably re-sign. Forwards Nino Niederreiter, Justin Fontaine and Jason Zucker are the others. Most of the unrestricted free agents will probably be let go, including goalie Ilya Bryzgalov, forwards Dany Heatley and Matt Moulson. Forward Cody McCormick and defencemen Clayton Stoner and Nate Prosser are also in this category, without any guarantee the Wild would be their highest or favourite bidder. Fletcher declined to speak about any interest or not in any of them specifically. "I think some of those guys will move on at this point. Theyre aware of where were at," Fletcher said. Fletcher traded Cal Clutterbuck for Niederreiter the day of the draft last year. He dealt Brent Burns for Devin Setoguchi and Charlie Coyle on draft day 2011. He acquired Brodziak in that scenario in 2009. This time, the Wild dont have a second-round pick, due to the trade for Moulson, so theyd be less interested in parting with their first-round pick, 18th overall. "Historically we havent been a team thats ever been confused with the Edmonton Oilers circa 83-85," Fletcher said. "If we could add a little bit more offence without sacrificing our defensive structure wed like to do that." LOUISVILLE, Ky. Jesse James Jersey . -- Rory McIlroy stood over a 10-inch putt in gathering darkness to win the PGA Championship as flashes from thousands of camera lit up Valhalla like a rock concert. Everyone wanted to capture a moment from golfs latest coronation. In his biggest test, McIlroy played his best golf Sunday to win his second straight major and establish himself as golfs next star. And what a stage. The final major was pure theatre with an All-Star cast -- Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler, Henrik Stenson all with a share of the lead on the back nine. The final two hours were filled with eagles and birdies, with tension and chaos. McIlroy never had to sweat so much to win one of golfs biggest events. And thats what made this major so much sweeter. "It is the most satisfying," McIlroy said. "To win it in this fashion and this style, it means a lot. It means that I know that I can do it. I know that I can come from behind. I know that I can mix it up with the best players in the world down the stretch in a major and come out on top." The final par -- the easiest shot he faced all day -- gave McIlroy a 3-under 68 to outlast Mickelson by a stroke and beat the darkness that threatened to spoil this show. He became only the fourth player in the last century to win four majors at 25 or younger. The others were Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus and Bobby Jones, three of the games greatest players. Boy Wonder appears on his way to belonging in that group. "I didnt think in my wildest dreams Id have a summer like this," said McIlroy, only the seventh player to win the last two majors of the year. "I played the best golf of my life. I really gutted it out today." But one of the greatest shows on soggy turf came with a most peculiar ending. Three shots behind as he stood in the 10th fairway, McIlroy got back in the game with a 3-wood from 281 yards into 7 feet for eagle. He took the outright lead when all three of his challengers eventually made bogey, and finally gave himself some breathing room. With a 9-iron from a fairway bunker to 10 feet for birdie on the 17th, he took a two-shot lead going to the par-5 closing hole. Because of a two-hour rain delay earlier, darkness was falling quickly and it wasnt certain McIlroy would be able to finish. McIlroy was allowed to hit his tee shot before Mickelson and Fowler had reached their drives. Both were only two shots behind, still in the game. McIlroy came within a yard of hitting in a hazard right of the fairway. Then, the PGA of America allowed McIlroy to hit his second shot. Mickelson and Fowler had to stand to the side of the green. "We were cool with hitting the tee shot," Fowler said. "We werent expecting the approach shots." Fowler had a 50-foot eagle attempt to tie for the lead. He was well off the mark, and missed the short birdie putt attempt that cost him his third straight runner-up finish in a major. Mickelson was short of the green, and his chip came within inches of dropping for an eagle that would have tied him for the lead. Mickelson appeared upset that they had to wait to finish the hole -- not standard procedure in a PGA Tour event -- and he made two references in a TV interview that this is the only championship the PGA of America runs all year. "It didnt affect the outcome of the championship at all, I dont think," Mickelson said. "Its not what we normally do. Its not a big deal either way." Mickelson closed with a 66 and was runner-up for the ninth time in a major. Fowler became the first player in history to finish in the top five at all four majors without winning one. He closed with a 68 and tied for third with Stenson, who fell out of a share of the lead by missing a 3-foot par putt on the 14th hole. Stenson shot a 66. McIlroy hit his second shot into a bunker, and he had to two-putt from 35 feet for the win. He lagged the first one to tap-in range, and the major was his. McIlroy repeatedly pumped his fist before letting out a scream above the gallery that had been treated to a Sunday it wont soon forget. McIlroy won his first two majors by eight shots at the 2011 U.S. Open and 2012 PGA Championship. Only a month ago, McIlroy took a six-shot lead into the final round of the British Open and completed a wire-to-wire win with only a brief scare. This was different. "I think I showed a lot of guts out there to get the job done," he said. It might not have been possible without a 3-wood on the par-5 10th hole. McIlroy watched Fowler make a 30-foot birdie putt ahead of him for the outright lead and knew it was time to get going. He hit his 3-wood lower than he wanted, and further to the left than he wanted, but it turned out perfect. Once he joined the leaders with a birdie on the 13th, none of the contenders made another birdie the rest of the way until it was too late. All that was left after an exhausting day of raw emotions was for McIlroy to summon enough energy to hoist the 27-pound Wanamaker Trophy. He crouched before the presentation, trying to collect his thoughts at the last month. Not since Woods in 2008 has anyone won three straight tournaments, and they were big ones -- the British Open, a World Golf Championship and the PGA Championship. He played them in a combined 48-under par. "Hes better than everyone else right now," Mickelson said. Nat Berhe Jersey . The 23-year-old Poland international is back as first choice at Arsenal after losing his regular spot in the team on occasions over the last three seasons. Coty Sensabaugh Jersey . According to a report from the Vancouver Province, the Lions are expected to replace former DC Rich Stubler with defensive backs coach Mark Washington. http://www.cheapsteelersjerseyssale.com/...ersey-sale . Kalish got his first hit since Sept. 11, 2012, when he rapped an RBI triple in the first inning Sunday in the Chicago Cubs 8-3 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies.Winston-Salem, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Wake Forest Demon Deacons had no answer for No. 15 North Carolina in the Tar Heels 87-71 win on Wednesday. North Carolina (15-4, 5-1 ACC) shot 60.3 percent from the field, led by Brice Johnsons 19-point effort on 8-of-11 shooting. The Tar Heels dominated Wake Forest in the paint by a 50-26 margin. Justin Jackson chipped in 17 points for North Carolina, while Kennedy Meeks added 16 points and eight rebounds. Marcus Paige facilitated the offense with 12 points and eight assists. We have to do a much better job of guarding and thats not just post players, said Wake Forest coach Danny Manning. Thats everybody. We got to do a better job of guarding our man. There isnt a science to it. Guard your man. The Demon Deacons (9-10, 1-5) led for only 50 seconds in the first half. Wake Forest had four players reach double figures, led by Codi Miller-McIntyre with 20 points. Devin Thomas contributed 12 points and a game-high 12 boards. With 56 seconds remaining in the first half, Miller-McIntyre hit a 3-pointer to cut North Carolinas lead to just two points. Paige responded with a layup at the other end, and he set up Johnson for a layup as the first half ended to take a 40-34 lead into the break. Those two buckets started a stretch of hot shooting for the Tar Heels that saw them make 8-of-9 shots from the field. When that run ended with Jacksons layup at the 15:17 mark, North Carolina led by 14 and had all the breathing room it needed. Lynn Swann Jersey. I thought in the second half, offensively we were really good, said North Carolina coach Roy Williams. We played more zone tonight than weve played in all of the other games put together, but we did because we had to. It was a good win. We feel good about it. Paige his North Carolinas first 3-pointer of the game 1 1/2 minutes later, and that started a 7-0 Tar Heels spurt that stretched their lead to a game- high 18 points. Despite being outshot by a significant margin for the entire game, Wake Forest was able to hang around early using two of North Carolinas strengths, grabbing offensive boards and netting second-chance points. Mitchell Wilbekin hit a pair of free throws with seven minutes to go in the first half to give the Demon Deacons their only lead. North Carolina scored the next six points and would not relinquish the advantage. Game Notes UNCs Theo Pinson left in the first half with a bruised foot ... With 157 victories, the Tar Heels have won more games against Wake Forest than any other opponent ... Williams earned his 150th win in ACC play ... The Tar Heels are 8-0 when scoring 80-plus points ... On Saturday, UNC hosts Florida State while Wake Forest travels to Clemson. Alexandre Bilodeau captured Canadas first gold medal at the 2010 Olympics, while Charles Hamelin was the Canadian teams only multi gold medallist in Vancouver. Marcus Allen Jersey . Erik Guay narrowly missed the Olympic podium four years ago, but hes Canadas most decorated World Cup alpine skier. The next honour one of them could add to an already illustrious career is Canadas flag-bearer for the Sochi Olympics. On Thursday in Ottawa, the Canadian Olympic Committee will announce who will carry the Maple Leaf into the Sochi opening ceremonies, and Bilodeau, Hamelin and Guay, all leaders in their respective sports, are all strong candidates. "Just being among those, its a great honour for me because those are great athletes and there are many more athletes that deserve to carry the flag and deserve to be in the front row when it comes to Canada and to be role models," Bilodeau told The Canadian Press in Montreal on Wednesday. "It would be a tremendous honour to do that for my country and well see (Thursday), but its definitely something very special to be flag-bearer and whomever its going to be, were going to be proud." When asked if hed been tipped to be in Ottawa, Bilodeau laughed and said "I havent been contacted yet, so if its already decided, Im not the one." Bilodeau won moguls gold on the second day of the Games, and the image of the freestyle skier celebrating with his brother Frederic is one of the most enduring of Vancouver. Hamelin claimed two of Canadas record-setting 14 gold medals, but even more remarkable is the fact the short-track speedskater, whos also an eight-time world champion, won them within half an hour of each other, winning the 500 metres before returning to the track as part of the victorious 5,000-metre relay. Guay posted a pair of fifth-place finishes in Vancouver, in the downhill and super-G, missing a medal in super-G by just three hundredths of a second. In December, he won his 21st World Cup medal, breaking the Canadian record for podium performances held by Steve Podborski. Guay will be in Kitzbuehel, Austria, on Thursday, where hes racing in a World Cup. Canadas flag-bearer traditionally generates plenty of conversation, and this time is no different, with Canadian hockey stars Sidney Crosby and Hayley Wickenheiser garnering much support. Crosby, who created one of Vancouvers golden moments when he scored the winner in the final versus the U.S., isnt expected to be in Sochi for the opening ceremonies as his Pittsburgh Penguins have a game that night versus the New York Rangers. While Bruins defenceman Zdeno Chara is missing two of Bostons NHL games to carry the flag for Slovakia, when asked about the possibility of carrying Canadas flag, Crosby said last weekend "It hasnt been brought up (by the Canadian Olympic Committee)." Wickenheiser, meanwhile, is Canadas biggest womens star and a pioneer of the game who will make her fifth Olympic appearance. According to Hockey Canada, the womens team will march in the Feb. 7 opening ceremonies, despite playing their opening game the following night versus Switzerland. Wickenheiser, however, was a participant in the 2010 opening ceremonies -- she read the athletes oath. Plus, womens hockey player Danielle Goyette carried the flag into the opening ceremonies in 2006 in Turin, Italy. Long-track speedskater Clara Hughes carried the flag in the 2010 opening ceremonies while figure skater Joannie Rochette, who captured bronze just days after the death of her mom, was chosen to carry it out. Other favourites for Sochi include figure skaters Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, who won Canadas first ice dance gold medal in Vancouver, and three-time world champion Patrick Chan. With the new team event starting the day before the opening ceremonies, however, Virtue and Moir have said they wont march. Two-time world champion Kaillie Humphries, who teamed up with Heather Moyse in Vancouver to win Canadas first ever womens bobsled medal, is another favourite. She and Moyse will be gunning for gold again in Sochi. And long-track speedskater Christine Nesbitt also won gold in Vancouver, and is a seven-time world champion and has won a whopping 39 World Cup titles. Theres a Facebook pace supporting skier Larisa Yurkiw for flag-bearer that has over 3,500 likes. Yurkiw missed the Vancouver Games after suffering a bad knee injury in 2009, and then was forced to go pounding on doors for financial support after she was cut from the national team program. Yurkiw bounced back to qualify for Canadas Sochi-bound team. Each sport nominates an athlete as a candidate for flag-bearer. But some athletes see the responsibility as a distraction. Diver Alexandre Despatie told reporters before the 2012 London Games that he would decline any offer to carry the flag. "Its a great distraction, although it is the greatest honour an athlete can receive," the two-time Olympic silver medallist said. Moguls skier Jean-Luc Brassard finished fourth at the 1998 Nagano Olympics, and blamed his disappointing performance on the fact hed carried the flag a day earlier. Among other recent flag-bearers named recently: Japan selected womens curler Ayumi Ogasawara, Italy chose two-time Olympic mens luge champion Armin Zoeggeler, and Spain will hand its flag to figure skater Javier Fernandez. Johnny Townsend Jersey . "Youre next." Hardly. Iguodala tormented his former team with a game better than any he ever played in eight seasons with the 76ers. Emmanuel Lamur Jersey . PETERSBURG, Fla. http://www.cheapraidersjerseyssale.com/?...ersey-sale . Its great to be back for another season in Banditland, and Im looking forward to another competitive season with my teammates, said Tavares.Dominic Cork thinks the ECB are ‘wrong’ to instruct Alastair Cook to wear a new approved helmet. The England captain reluctantly ditched his old headwear in favour of an ECB-compliant helmet for Essexs County Championship match with Sussex at Hove, during which he scored one in the first innings and an unbeaten 127 in the second.Former England all-rounder Cork feels players should make their own choice with regards to helmets and says they could even sign a waiver if they choose not to adopt the ECB-preferred model. Former England captain Nasser Hussain thinks Alastair Cook should be able to decide which style of helmet he wears I think it is wrong for the ECB to be telling the England captain that he has to change to his visor, Cork told Sky Sports News HQ.I get the safety element that is needed for children and academy players but it should be down to the player - if he feels it is right to go down his route, then he should. If itt means they have to sign a disclaimer, then great. Kenny Stabler Jersey. .I just find it hard that the ECB are trying to tell county cricketers and England cricketers that they have to change a visor or put in one that doesnt move. ORCHARD PARK, N. Wholesale Tennessee Titans Jerseys .Y. -- Tight end Tony Moeaki will get whats essentially a four-week tryout in Buffalo to show hes healthy after being signed by the Bills on Wednesday. The former Chiefs player has been out since breaking his shoulder in Kansas Citys preseason win over Pittsburgh on Aug. 23. He was then released by the Chiefs after reaching an injury settlement in October. At 6-foot-3, 252 pounds, Moeaki first gained prominence during his rookie season in 2010, when he had 47 catches for 556 yards and three touchdowns. His career has since been slowed by injuries, including a torn left ACL that forced him to miss the entire 2011 season. Overall, Moeaki has 80 catches for 1,009 yards and four touchdowns in 30 games. He was Kansas Citys third-round draft pick out of Iowa. The Bills (4-8) play at Tampa Bay (3-9) on Sunday. Buffalo made room to sign Moeaki by cutting running back Tashard Choice earlier in the day. Saying its too early to tell when he might play, Moeaki added he was still getting accustomed to his new setting after spending much of the past few months rehabbing in Chicago. "Yes, it all happened pretty quickly. Im just trying to catch my breath here and get started," he said. Moeaki signed after working out with the Bills a day earlier. The move comes with the Bills starting to look ahead to next year to determine their tight end position. Starter Scott Chandler, who ranks second on the Bills with 491 yards receiving, is in the final year of his contract. And hes coming off a tough outing during which his fumble in overtime led to Matt Bryant hitting a 36-yard field goal in Atlantas 34-31 win on Sunday. Moeaki is reunited with Chandler after the two spent two seasons playing together at Iowa. "I know Scott pretty well," Moeaki said. "It helps to have a friend on the team at the same position, especially in this situation, new city, new team." Choice, a sixth-year player, became the odd-man out after spending the past three seasons in Buffalo. He ranked third on the team with 126 yards rushing behind co-starters C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson. Both Jackson and Spiller wore Choices No. 20 jerseys during practice Wednesday in honour of their former teammate. "We just wanted to let him know that we were thinking about him, and we had him with us today in spirit," Jackson said. "It was shocking. He was a tremendous player, so I think hell bounce somewhere and get right back on his feet." Eddie George Jersey .J. -- Richard Sherman, Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch deservedly draw the attention for what theyve done in getting the Seattle Seahawks to the Super Bowl. Luke Stocker Jersey . - The Minnesota Vikings have ruled Christian Ponder out for Sundays game at Baltimore, because the quarterback has not yet passed all of his post-concussion tests. http://www.cheaptitansjerseyssale.com/?t...ersey-sale . -- The Oakland Raiders expect to have starting right tackle Tony Pashos back for Sundays game against the Houston Texans.TORONTO - After walking off the mound for the last time this season, J.A. Happ couldnt help but reflect. From struggling in spring training with back problems and starting the season in the bullpen, the Toronto Blue Jays left-hander closed his year on a high Saturday, throwing 6 1-3 innings of four-hit baseball in a 4-2 victory over the Baltimore Orioles. Its pretty unbelievable, Happ said of the difference between the way the season started and ended. Its kind of hard to imagine yourself in that position when youre in some tough circumstances, sometimes its tough to see the light at the end of the tunnel.Youve got to keep having faith and keep working, it pays off. It felt good to walk off the mound today with the fans cheering the way they were, and to have the lead in the game. It was great.Happ (11-11) recorded a quality start in each of his final seven outings at Rogers Centre this season and had a 2.47 earned run average over that stretch. He believes staying healthy, altering the angle of his arm on pitches and being able to adjust to hitters throughout a game have been keys to his success.I feel like Ive showed, over the second half especially, when healthy Im able to make adjustments, Happ said. Thats the biggest part of the game, I think, is constantly trying to be comfortable and make the adjustments that the hitters are making to you.Asked if he thinks hes made a strong case for the Blue Jays picking up his US$6.7 million option for the 2015 season, Happ said: Yeah, I hope so.Toronto manager John Gibbons said hes certainly going to make the case to Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopolous to keep the 31-year-old veteran with the team for another season.I like everything about him, Gibbons said. I think hes really come into his own.Other than giving up a run in the second inning on a triple and a siingle and surrendering a booming solo home run to Adam Jones in the sixth inning, Happ was in command. Adoree Jackson Jersey. He struck out four, walked two and threw just 93 pitches. He lowered his ERA to 4.22 for the season. He was really good today but hes been really good all year, Gibbons said. He really kicked it in after the all-star break. Hes proven hes a pitcher that can go pretty deep into games. It couldnt happen to a better guy. Hes a real pro. Hes really dedicated and he really works at it.Happ and the Blue Jays (83-78) benefited from some sloppy defence by the American League East champion Orioles (95-66), who committed three errors which led to two of Torontos runs.Wei-Yin Chen (16-6) took the loss, yielding three runs, one of them unearned, over six innings.Toronto left-fielder Kevin Pillar had two hits and scored a pair of runs, including an insurance run on a head-first slide in the seventh inning that was originally ruled an out but was reversed on a replay. It was one of those in-between fly balls and kind of playing with nothing to lose, Pillar said of the play that made it 4-2. The home plate collision is a real fine line and with catchers not trying to block the plate and staying out of the way. He didnt give me much of a lane, just a little bit of a lane.Im trying to avoid sliding head first but sometimes youve got to do what youve got to do.Jose Reyes, who supplied the sacrifice fly for that insurance run, had another run batted in, driving home Steve Tolleson with a double in the fifth inning to put Toronto up for good at 2-1.Aaron Sanchez had 1 2-3 innings of hitless relief and Casey Janssen worked a perfect ninth for his 25th save as the Blue Jays picked up their second straight victory.Toronto closes out the season Sunday afternoon looking for the three-game sweep of Baltimore. Hamiltons Dustin Tokarski made 19 saves for his 16th win of the season while Drew MacIntyre made 24 saves in the loss. DAmigo scored 51 seconds into the first after Bulldogs defenceman Greg Pateryn failed to clear a loose puck behind the Hamilton net. DAmigo put home his own rebound for his 11th of the season. It was all Bulldogs after that. Brian Allen Jersey . The Toronto Maple Leafs were holding a news conference, so they got curious. Not because it was right, but because referees werent allowed to determine it was wrong. http://www.cheapramsjerseysonline.com/?t...sey-online .C. -- Cam Newton wasnt flawless on Sunday. CHICAGO -- With eight wins in their last 11 games, the Toronto Raptors head into 2014 pointed in the right direction. They believe it can be the start of something big. Jonas Valanciunas scored 15 points and the Toronto Raptors mounted a fourth-quarter comeback to beat the Chicago Bulls 85-79 on Tuesday night. He made two big free throws to seal the game in the final minute after Toronto had missed three of four from the line down the stretch. Greivis Vasquez hit a 3-pointer two minutes into the fourth to give Toronto (14-15) its first lead of the second half, and the Raptors didnt look back. Vasquez scored seven of his nine points in the fourth quarter, and also had two assists and a blocked shot in the final quarter as Toronto overcame the tenacious Bulls defence. "Greivis came in and changed the game," Raptors coach Dwane Casey said. "It was a game of toughness and physicality that you have to have when you play if you are going to be in the playoffs. "That is how we will have to play to get there." Luol Deng led Chicago (12-18) with 16 points in his return to the court after missing five games due to a sore left Achilles tendon. Joakim Noah had a game-high 16 rebounds for the Bulls. Toronto shot 37 per cent through the first three quarters, but turned it up in the fourth making 10 of its 17 shots. Meanwhile, the Bulls went 4-for-24 from the field in the fourth quarter, falling to 1-6 at the United Center after starting the season 6-1. "The fourth quarter has got to be your best quarter," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said. "You have to have more intensity, your decision have to be quicker. We have to finish strong, we cant just flip the ball up there." Coming off of season-highs with 32 points and 11 assists Saturday against the Knicks, Kyle Lowry had a modest 12 and six against Chicago. The 27-year-old averaged 22.4 points over his last five games coming in, including 14-for-30 from 3-point range despite dealing with trade rumours. Lowry took an early breather after being whistled for a pair of fouls within the first five minutes. He didnt score until seven minutes into tthe second quarter when he knocked down a 3-pointer from the wing. Micah Kiser Jersey. He connected again from deep on the following possession. "We know we have a chance to do some things and we can take care of business when times get tough," Lowry said. "Pulling out these games is just showing that team camaraderie, the spirit that we have and were all happy for each other. Following his season-high 26-point performance Monday at Memphis, Jimmy Butler poured in 15 for Chicago (12-18). He completed a three-point play to pull the Bulls back within five with two minutes left, but they couldnt complete the comeback. Carlos Boozer missed his first seven shots and didnt find the scoring column until midway through the third quarter. Boozer, Noah and Kirk Hinrich combined to go 4-for-27 from the field. "We had the lead, and we didnt play as tough as we needed to with the lead," Thibodeau said. "We have to take a hard look at that." Deng was limited, playing 33 minutes. He averages just over 38 minutes per game. He acknowledged that he may be limited for a while longer. "I got into the game slowly," he said. "In the fourth quarter, I tried to be a little more aggressive and force it a little bit. I knew coming back, I was going to feel it anyway, but nothing too crazy, nothing too bad. Im happy with how it felt." Taj Gibson was the only player in double-figures when Chicago took a 42-36 lead into halftime. He finished with 12 points - two in the second half. Mike Dunleavy added 13 for Chicago, which had won three of its last four. Toronto has won two of the three meetings this season, the road team coming out on top each time. Notes: Bulls G D.J. Augustin, who was released by the Raptors on December 9, had six points and three assists on 3-of-4 shooting. Augustin shot just 1 for 7 from the floor against his former team on Dec. 14, a 99-77 loss. . Raptors F Amir Johnson was taken out in the second quarter due to a right knee injury, but returned minutes later after going to the locker room for treatment. He finished with nine points and six rebounds.
